Professor at the Institute of Applied Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw, since 1980 a member of Solidarity at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, interned for several months in 1982, sociologist and researcher of ecological movements, originator and editor of the magazine "Societas/Communitas". Her publications include: Drogi kontrkultury (1975), Ruch konsumentów (1981), Więcej niż teatr (1988). She supported the activities of the Interdisciplinary Creativity and Research Centre Pracownia "Workshop" and the Węgajty Theatre. The field practice of her students in the Social Welfare Home in Jonkowo (2008) was an important inspiration for the creation of the Haz Beszkwej Theatre (now the Needed Theatre). She passed away in 2010.
