Graduate of the State Secondary Art School in Olsztyn and the Faculty of Artistic Education at the Olsztyn Higher School of Pedagogy. She obtained her PhD degree at the Faculty of Textile Art and Fashion Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (2006). She works as an assistant professor at the Institute of Fine Arts of the University of Warmia and Mazury. Graduate of the course Animals, Gender, and Culture: The Environmental, Ethical and Cultural Perspective at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She focuses on painting, experimental textiles and performance art. Her creative interests focus on ecological art, deep ecology and artistic activities engaged with social issues. She is a co-founder and member of the art group FAŁDY, whose activity responds to the growing need for a deep analysis of the contemporary world’s development processes, its mindless commercialisation and industrialisation causing an increase in inequality and social pathologies. Since 2014, she has been working with the Wegajty Theatre, participating in the Theatre Village and City on the Road festivals. During these events, she helps to build the visual identity of the Węgajty Theatre (author of numerous posters), carries out performative activities and gives lectures. Author of the cover and a series of illustrations for Wacław Sobaszek’s Spiski życiowe (2020). She acts as a ‘liaison’ between the Węgajty Theatre and the Institute of Fine Arts at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Her active participation in the theatrical activities of the Węgajty Theatre remains a dream.
