Anna Maria Olszak

Educator, socio-cultural animator, streetworker. Graduate of pedagogy specialising in socio-cultural and socio-care animation and of theatre studies at the Jagiellonian University. A student of postgraduate studies in revalidation and support for people with autism and Asperger’s syndrome. Co-founder of the KONTRA/BANDA Foundation, organiser of four editions of the Hundred Plays Festival in Stary Wylezin, the Hundred Plays Festival "Kraina Rawka" and the #ETNOChallenge project. Leader of artistic and educational workshops as part of the Summer in the Theatre programme organised by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw. Adept of the Other Theatre School of the Węgajty Theatre and a volunteer of the Theatre Village. She devoted her bachelor’s and master’s thesis to the analysis of the Other Theatre School from the perspective of socio-cultural animation and intercultural education. She currently works as a streetworker at the New Centre Foundation in Kraków.
