Anna Zdziarska

Cultural animator, theatre and art instructor, creator and coordinator of socio-cultural projects, occupational therapist, kindergarten teacher, mother. Since 1996, she has been an adept and supporter of Wegajty Theatre’s projects, including carolling workshops and field expeditions, and then the activities of the Other Theatre School. Co-creator and co-executor of Sobótki in Węgajty. She conducted arts and crafts classes for children from the village. Student of the Theatre Academy in Gardzienice (1997-1999). In 2000-2005, she cooperated with the Tratwa Association, the Centre for Education and Cultural Initiatives in Olsztyn, the Nasza Wieś Association and the Municipal Cultural Centre in Dywity, running theatre and art classes for the inhabitants of villages and small towns in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodeship. She worked as an occupational therapist with the elderly and people with disabilities at the Cultural Centre in Gietrzwałd and at the Social Welfare Home in Barczewo. From 2005 to 2012, she ran a farm and devoted a lot of attention to raising her children. Between 2012 and 2015, she again worked with the Centre for Education and Cultural Initiatives in Olsztyn, the Kółko Graniaste Foundation and the Cultural Centre in Dywity, where she was an instructor. Since 2016, she has been working in the UK as a caregiver for people with disabilities. She also runs arts, crafts and theatre classes for people with autism and Down’s syndrome.
