Bogumiła Majczyno

Culture expert, animator, professional musician (diploma in violin class), conducts music classes for children and independent musical projects, undertakes group work (bands: OM, GOPtrio and Córy Mary). She has received scholarships from the Capital City of Warsaw and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Actress, participant of field trips, connected with the Węgajty Theatre since 2014. She first came here during a congress of the Cultural Animation specialisation at the Institute of Polish Culture of the University of Warsaw. It was love at first sight. She took part in the expedition to Dziadówek (2016), where, in addition to travelling with Alleluias, she worked on the performance Zero Hour staged during the Theatre Village (2016), "Sztuka w Obejściu" (2016) and "City on the Road" (2017), as well as at the Theatre Studio in Warsaw (2016) and in Dortmund (2018). At the last three events, she also performed in the play Less!. Since 2016, she has spent every Easter at Alleluias – with her spiritual and artistic family. She took part in the Shrovetide workshop (2017). Participant of festivals: Theatre Village (also a volunteer) and "Sztuka w Obejściu", during which she runs an Open Dance Course with Mute and Wacek Sobaszek (often with Piotr Rogaliński) and visits neighbourhood farms with Pogotowie Muzyczne. Author and co-author of workshops at the Węgajty Theatre: in April 2017, together with the SYRENY group, she created the performance Malleus Maleficarum, czyli młot na czarownice, in July – with Aleksandra Kowalczyk and Edka Jarząb – she led a workshop on vocal improvisation, in November – with Mute Sobaszek and Zofia Bartoszewicz – she organised the performance action Interwencja oniryczna during "City on the Road", and in February 2018 – a musical Open workshop after the Shrovetide performance at the hospital in Działdowo. In February 2019, she played Shrovetide songs in the surrounding villages and in May 2019 with Piotr Rogaliński, Wacław and Mute Sobaszek during a May dance organised by Municipal Cultural Centre in Olsztyn. During the 39th Warsaw Theatre Meetings she co-led the open workshop. Co-creator of the performance Królewna Śni (2020) realised by Scena za Ścianką operating at the Centre for Women's Rights in Warsaw (Theatre Village 2020).
