Joanna Zbiegień

She performs in the white voice singing technique. Between 1998 and 2006 she co-founded the folk band "Goście z nizin" with which she recorded the studio album "Gościniec" (2001). She was associated with the Węgajty Theatre/Field Project in 1997-2003, participant of carolling expeditions and workshops, performer in the Missa Pagana, performance, author of photographs showing the Theatre’s activities. She treated her meeting with the Węgajty Theatre as an enlightenment and a revelation of the wonderful space of existence, sound, interpersonal relations and getting to know herself. For her, several years of co-operation with the theatre were an adventure of a lifetime, a touch and an attempt to express the depth of her essence, to find her own way. Her sensitivity was largely discovered and shaped in Węgajty. As she says, she would not be who she is if she had not received the gift of Węgajty... Years later, the deeper she looks at herself, the more she sees how much of that experience still works and radiates in her.
