Justyna Wielgus

Her first appearance at the Węgajty Theatre was in 2001 at a Shrovetide workshop, during which her first (unfortunately stolen) mask was created. Since then, she has taken part in all carolling, Alleluias and Shrovetide expeditions for 12 years. In 2011, she was co-organiser of the Węgajty Theatre's "Caravan of the South" expedition to Albania. Over time, she went from being a participant to becoming a co-leader of classes within the Other Theatre School. At the same time she was in the substantive team of the emerging (2003) and still existing Theatre Village Festival. As a performer she took part in the performances: Missa Pagana, The Ghostly Shroud (2001), Synczyzna (2004). Her beloved form of performative presence was dance, in which she spent countless hours of each day and night.
