Magda Jasińska

Theatrologist, animator, trainer and coordinator of social and artistic projects. She cooperates with the Wilam Horzyca Theatre in Toruń. She works at the Stabilo Foundation as an expert on social consultation and training. Loves travelling, good literature and theatre. In 2006-2010, as part of her doctoral studies in literary studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, she was preparing her doctoral thesis on the Węgajty Theatre. The thesis was eventually not written, but extensive fragments of it exist in typescript. She is the author of important texts about the Węgajty Theatre published in "Episteme: Scientific and Cultural Semi-Annual", "Scena" and collective volumes. She formulated a definition of the Węgajty Theatre as an "anthropological theatre" (2012). She has participated in many activities of the group, including workshops and expeditions of the Other Theatre School. She has given numerous talks during the Theatre Village festivals.
