Jenny Burniewicz
Eurythmist (diploma from the Eurythmia Academy in The Hague), music and theatre instructor. She taught music, piano and dance and led instrumental ensembles. As a trainee and then employee of the Pracownia "Workshop" Theatre Activities Centre in Olsztyn, she co-created theatre plays and artistic events and developed her own movement and voice workshop, which she shared with groups in Poland and the Netherlands. She created theatrical performances and artistic programmes with children, young people and young adults, and wrote musical compositions for all her performances. She composed dozens of pieces to her own texts and those of many poets. She presented several performances with her co-workers at the invitation of the Węgajty Theatre, also during the Children's Festival, the Theatre Village Festival and the "Miasto w drodze". For twenty-five years she led theatre groups using eurythmics (including ten years working with deaf people). She ran an amateur eurythmia group for adults, Eudlador, for twenty years. She organised eurythmia demonstrations in various art projects. For many years she conducted regular eurythmia classes in kindergartens, schools and universities as well as workshops in Poland and abroad. She performed at international conferences on art and therapy on many occasions. Winner of the President of Olsztyn Award.
