Composer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and music educator. Born in Będzin, he studied at the Academy of Music in Warsaw. Co-founder of the Electroacoustic Music Studio. He performed in many countries in Europe, Asia and North America, with ensembles representing various styles and genres: from classical and contemporary music to jazz, rock and ethnic music. From 1986 to 1991, he created in New York, where he performed in major concert halls, museums, galleries and theatres. In 1989, he received the local critics' "Bessie Award". He worked in Lithuania for several years. He lectured at: New York Open Center, New School, New York University, Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Warsaw University and at the Academy of Music in Warsaw. He conducted voice classes for theatres such as: Węgajty, Kana, Gardzienice, Wierszalin, Montownia. He worked with people with disabilities, with children and with young people. He composed many award-winning scores for theatre, film and dance. For 40 years he has led workshops in many countries on different continents. He has worked with the Węgajty Theatre since the late 1990s. Composer and director of the open-air show Missa Pagana (2000), composer of music for the show The Ghostly Shroud (2001). He has given many concerts in Węgajty, mainly with the duo Sol et Luna, led workshops and created "musical happenings". His work has had a significant influence on many young musicians associated with the Theatre.
