Mirosław Ładoś

Musician in the band Nowica 9 and in the Szum Strumyka trio, reactivated cyclically together with the Sobaszek couple during the carolling of the Węgajty Theatre in Nowica. Co-organiser of artistic events in Nowica (including carol singing), cooperates with the creative collective from Dąbrowa Dolna. He first met the Węgajty Village Theatre in the late 1980s, before settling there permanently with his family and musical group. His first encounter with the colourful, singing, international Theatre and the special art was an important creative impulse for him. The meeting place and the source of the idea of living art in conditions close to nature was Jan Szymczyk’s home. For Mirosław Ładoś, the music band Nowica 9, the artistic collective of Dąbrowa Dolna, and the Węgajty Theatre are special initiatives on the underground cultural map of Poland. The musical and theatrical ventures they undertake are of particular importance in preserving cultural heritage given the decades-long dismantling of the Polish countryside in mental, social and cultural spheres.
