He comes from Kiev, where he sang for 14 years in amateur and professional choirs, including the State Male Choir of Ukraine. In 1988-1991 he was an actor in the Kyiv Studio Theatre "Wydybaj" and a participant in Polish-Ukrainian ethnomusicological expeditions to Hutsul, Pokut and Bukovina. Since 1992, as an actor and singer of the Węgajty Theatre and Węgajty Schola, he played in productions: The Inn Towards Eternal Peace and The Canterbury Tales as well as taking part in expeditions. Since 1994, he has performed in the Węgajty Schola’s performances. He played in Ordo Stellae, Ludus Paschalis, Planctus Mariae, Ordo Annutiatione, Ludus Danielis, Ludus Passionis, Miracula Sancti Nicolae. He appeared in concert programmes: Jokulatores dei, Orient – oxydent, Zamek Warmia, Theotokos, Akatyst ku czci Bogurodzicy, Kondakion o nawróconej, O trzech młodziankach w piecu ognistym. Since 2001, he has led the Schola’s programme "Kanty i psalmy", devoted to Polish-Ukrainian cultural links of the 17th century. Since 2008, he has sung in the Olsztyn Academic Choir Bel Canto. He is involved in the lyrical tradition. As a leader of workshops of Polish and Ukrainian lyric songs, he took part, for example, in the Lyric Tabor of the Polish-Ukrainian Academy of Wandering Musicians in Narol. In 2010-2014 he conducted a series of workshops at the open-air museum in Koźliki on the Narew River, and in the years 2009 and 2013 he conducted workshops as part of the project ‘Around tradition’ at the invitation of the Kana Theatre. He cooperates with the Ukrainian section of Radio Olsztyn, where he hosts programmes on cultural issues. He also cooperates with the Ukrainian weekly "Nasze Słowo".
