Artist, works in Olsztyn. Graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, where he obtained a diploma in graphic design at the Faculty of Fine Arts (1973). From the same year, he was associated with the Olsztyn branch of the Association of Polish Artists. He was inspired by conceptualism when he was a student. Author of installations, objects, plastic actions. He works not only with performance art but also with painting, graphics and drawing. He works in the urban space, often in the open air. He uses natural elements (water, snow, ice, sand) and his own body as a medium for his artistic activities. Participant of international open-air painting workshops. His works have been presented at numerous individual and collective exhibitions in Poland. He participated in all editions of the Olsztyn Biennale of Arts (1998-2011). Winner of numerous awards and distinctions. Since 1977, he has accompanied the activities of the Interdisciplinary Creativity and Research Centre Pracownia "Workshop", both locally and on tour, as a participant in theatre workshops and a spectator. In this context, he was sometimes referred to as the "secretary of madmen". In July 1978, he invited members of "Pracownia" to jointly perform an art action during Julian Dadlez’s jubilee exhibition. A friend of the Węgajty Theatre, he is a spectator of performances and an active participant in ‘City on the Road’ (since 2012), during which he presents performace art. In 2011 he actively joined the Wegajty Theatre's protest "Art on the Street' with the action 'Speech of the Hammer".
