Władysław Tkaczuk (Dziadek Tkaczuk)

Resident of the village of Nowe Kawkowo, musician and carol singer. He spoke in maxims, rhymes and song motifs. He gave the Węgajty Village Theatre the melodies and texts which were recorded. From these musical motifs and songs, the theatre's creators assembled a carol script ("Pastorałka"), learning carol traditions. He taught Witold Broda to play the drum. The meeting with Grandfather Tkaczuk was extremely important for the activities of the theatre and talent development of the associated musicians.
