Zygmunt Markowski

An actor, he was in the founding line-up of the Haz Beszkwej Theatre. He performed in the plays Wedding - Public Domain (in the role of the Priest) and Iwona poślubiona (in the role of the Chamberlain), presented in Jonkowo, Węgajty and Olsztyn. He participated in artistic activities carried out by the Węgajty Theatre in the Social Welfare Home in Jonkowo. Today he treats his resignation from theatre work as somewhat analogous to the decision of Karol Wojtyła, who also left the theatre to engage in religious practice. He works as a church worker and is a lector.
